TEMPLE BAND HOSTS 38TH ANNUAL NEW MEMBER NIGHT

The Temple Band, "America's First Town Band", will host its annual New Member Nights on Monday, October 17, 24 & 31 from 7 to 9:00 pm at The Temple Town Hall in Temple, NH.
  
The Temple Band is an all-volunteer, non-profit community band drawing members, ranging in age from 10 to 85, from the Monadnock and Souhegan Valley regions of southern NH. There are no dues, fees or auditions required, however two years’ experience on your concert band instrument is requested and a commitment to try to make at least half of our rehearsals and shows. All concert band instruments are welcome.
  
The Band meets for weekly rehearsals on Monday night from 7 - 9 pm from October to May. Our performance venue includes a December Christmas benefit performance and about 15 summer events scheduled throughout New England. The Band is very pleased to have been invited to participate in the fifth annual National Community Concert Band Sousa Festival in Washington, DC in June 2012. Members joining the band in October will be eligible to join us for this event.
  
Rehearsals are held in the Town Hall, located on Route 45 south off Route 101 in the center of Temple, NH.
